Karina — Founder/CEO

I was born and raised in Mexico, and my journey with children started when I was 18 years old. I came to New Jersey as an au pair and cared for triplets, an experience that completely shaped me. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me patience, resilience, and just how much of a difference a caring adult can make in a child’s life. After my program, I continued working as a nanny for several years, and little by little, I built a life here. I’ve now been living in New Jersey for over a decade, and during this time, I’ve seen both the challenges families face when searching for the right support and how life-changing it can be when the match is right.

Founding The Nanny Booth with my sisters came from that very personal place. We know what it’s like to be on the caregiver’s side, and we know what it means for parents to trust someone in their home. I do this work because I believe families deserve support that is transparent, thoughtful, and caring, not just another “search.” For me, it’s never about filling a job; it’s about building trust and making sure families feel supported, and nannies feel respected.

Daniela — Co-Founder/Placement Manager

Like my sisters, I was born and raised in Mexico, and my first big step into childcare was becoming an au pair in Canada. Those years gave me not only cultural exchange but also real experience caring for children day to day. Later, I moved to Germany, where I’ve now lived for more than a decade. While here, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Spanish, and German, and worked in daycare alongside my studies. Being a nanny, and later working in early education, showed me the importance of fairness, communication, and respect for caregivers.

At The Nanny Booth, I bring all of that experience into how I manage placements. For me, it’s not only about matching a family with a nanny but making sure both sides feel heard, valued, and respected. I’ve lived in different countries, seen different systems, and I know the impact that comes from a family and caregiver truly connecting. That’s why I do this—because I want families to feel at peace knowing their children are cared for, and I want nannies to know they’re respected professionals.

Heidi — Recruitment Specialist

My childcare journey began in New Jersey, where I worked as an au pair for two years. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for what it takes to earn a family’s trust and for the incredible responsibility that comes with caring for children. Over the years, I moved into recruitment. This experience pushed me to become an excellent communicator and taught me how to build trust quickly, skills I now bring directly into my work at The Nanny Booth.

As the team’s recruiter, I’m the first point of contact for many of the nannies. I love speaking with them, hearing their stories, and making sure that they are truly qualified and ready for the roles we present. What drives me is knowing that every conversation matters, the way I listen, the way I guide, the way I encourage a nanny can ultimately lead to a child being cared for and a family feeling supported. I do this work because I believe it’s meaningful, and because I know how important it is for both families and nannies to feel they’re in good hands.
